The Department comprises seven divisions: Chemical Engineering, Civil
Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Energy and
Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material and Mine
Engineering and
Architecture & Art.
In 2003, The Office of Foresighting Science and
Technology was set up to inform the Iranian-policy makers and
organizations about the scientific and technological developments
throughout the world. The Office has prepared several reports in different
areas relating to economic, industrial and technological futurism, their
principles, methods and roles. There are 13 fellows and 26 associates members.
