President of the Academy

Prof. Reza Davari Ardakani was elected as the president of the Academy in November 1998 and in October 2006 he was reelected for the third term.

Duties

Proposal of the administrative organization, budget and annual account to the Academy’s Board of Trustees for approval.

Recommendation of the membership of the Academy in international scientific societies.

Appointment of the heads of Departments.

Recommendation of the nominees as fellows, associates and honorary members to the General Body for approval.

Control and follow up of the implementation of the decisions made by the Board of Trustees of the Academy, the General Body and Scientific Council.

Invitation of the members of the General Body and the Scientific Council to attend the sessions.
