<div>The Academy of Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been elected as the Vice President of the Association of Academies and Societies of Sciences in Asia (AASSA).</div> <div></div> <div>This association, which is a part of the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP), comprises 32 countries from the continents of Asia and Oceania, with the aim of utilizing science and technology for the development of these countries. The General Assembly of the Association was held from October 21 to 36, 2024, in Manila, Philippines, and Prof. Mohammad Reza Shams Ardekani, the Secretary of the Academy, participated in this event as the representative of the Academy of Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran.</div> <div></div> <div> </div> <div></div>
