<div> </div> <div></div> <div>Presided over by Prof. Davari Ardakani, the 508th meeting of the Scientific Council of the Academy was held semi-virtually on Sunday, February 27th. The attendees consisted of the chairmen of the scientific departments, vice president for research and deputy president, and secretary of the Foresight Council of the Academy.</div> <div></div> <div> </div> <div></div> <div>Having ratified the minutes of the previous meeting, the following topics were decided upon in the meeting:</div> <div></div> <div>- Fellowship proposal of a number of associate fellows by the Department of Human Sciences, Department of Veterinary Sciences and Department of Engineering Sciences of the Academy. These will be referred to the General Assembly for final approval;</div> <div>- Extension of the associate fellowship of a professor proposed by the Department of Engineering Sciences. This will be passed to the General Assembly for final approval;</div> <div>- Extension of the collaboration of nine guest scholars with the Department of Human Sciences, three with the Department of Engineering Sciences and one with the Department of Agricultural Sciences for a further two-year term.</div> <div></div> <div> </div> <div></div> <div> </div> <div></div> <div> </div>
