Prof. Fathollah Moztarzadeh Appointed as the Secretary of the Council of Futures Studies

Prof. Fathollah Moztarzadeh, fellow of the Academy, has been appointed as the “Secretary of the Council of Futures Studies of the Academy”. The Council was set up to get access to a comprehensive and coherent vision in futures studies of the country and to set science and technology priorities with respect to the Country’s Development Vision, Scientific Master Plan and general policies on science and technology and sustainable development.

Prof. Moztarzadeh is a distinguished professor of Amirkabir University of Technology and the Lasting Personality of the country. He has been a fellow of the Academy since its establishment. During this period, he has served as the chairman of the Division of Chemistry and the Department of Basic Sciences as well as being a member of the Scientific Council and a member of the Research Council of the Academy. He has also been the chairman of the Commission of Futures Studies of the Academy for a few years. Prof. Moztarzadeh and his colleagues have been in charge of holding Futures Day Ceremonies at the Academy.
