<div></div> <div>On November 13th, 2019, the Division of Fishery, Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Academy, hosted a seminar on “New Aquaculture Systems; Challenges and Strategies”.</div> <div></div> <div>In the seminar, four lectures were delivered on the theme. Then the speakers, a number of the Academy’s members, faculty members of the universities, experts and researchers in aquaculture and natural resources, and authorities of fisheries section held a round-table. While emphasizing on responsible aquaculture and more and better observance of the principles of sustainable development based on the up-to-date knowledge, the attendees expressed their recommendations to be presented to activists, stakeholders, managers and authorities in the field of fisheries.</div> <div></div> <div>A summary of the comments made in the lectures and roundtable has been issued as a statement.</div> <div></div> <div> </div>
