Prof. Ali Kaveh’s New Publications

 

The book titled Metaheuristic Optimization Algorithms in Civil Engineering: New Applications written by Prof. Ali Kaveh and Eng. Armin Dadras is published in English by Springer. Prof. Kaveh is a fellow of the Academy and professor of Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) and Eng. Dadras is a PhD student in Earthquake Engineering at the IUST. The book contains fifteen chapters which present recent advancements and new applications of metaheuristic optimization algorithms in the field of Civil Engineering.

The book titled Swift Analysis of Civil Engineering Structures Using Graph Theory written by Prof. Ali Kaveh, Dr. Hossein Rahami and Dr. Iman Shojaei is also published in English by Springer. Dr. Rahami is an associate professor at the University of Tehran and Dr. Shojaei is a graduate of the University of Kentucky. The book includes ten chapters and will appeal to civil, mechanical and biomedical engineering students.
