Unveiling the Book on Computational Continuum Mechanics of Nanoscopic Structures

At the Honoring Ceremony of Abu Rayhan Biruni held at the Academy on June 20th, the book titled "Computational Continuum Mechanics of Nanoscopic Structures" written by Esmaeal Ghavanloo, Hashem Rafiei-Tabar, and Seyed Ahmad Fazelzade was unveiled. Compiled by these three Iranian researchers in the field of Nano, the book has been recently published by Springer.

In Prof. Rafiei-Tabar’ view, one of the distinguishing features of the book is that it is the result of the cooperation between Shiraz University and Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Health Services. He added that the book’s innovative aspect is that it employs the advanced views of Mechanics of continuous systems to analyze fragmented systems. Moreover, the cutting-edge approaches of this work help us study biological systems.
