<div> </div> <div></div> <div>In the 115th General Assembly meeting of the Academy, Prof. Hassan Zohoor was elected as the Academy's candidate to receive the First Governmental Medal of Science for 2015 at the Joint Honoring Ceremony of the Academies of IR Iran.</div> <div></div> <div> </div> <div></div> <div>Prof. Zohoor holds a Ph.D. degree from Purdue University, USA. Currently he is a fellow of the Academy and rector of the Center for Science and Technology Studies. He is also professor of Mechanical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology. </div> <div></div> <div> </div> <div></div> <div>The Joint Honoring Ceremony of the Academies of IR Iran is held by the four Academies with the participation of the president of IR Iran. In this event, the president awards the First Governmental Medals to the four candidates of the Iranian Academies. </div>
