The Department has 8 specialized divisions, 9 specialized workgroups and 2 think tanks. The specialized divisions of the Department study and comment on macro policies of science, technology, education and research in their own specialized areas. The Department is composed of 21 fellows, 51 associate fellows and 28 invited scholars.
